Magdalena Szeptycka

Magdalena specialises in all aspects of employment law and HR law. She provides a full range of advisory services to HR departments of large multinationals and drafts documents relating to collective and individual employment law. She deals with the copyright-protected work and personal data of employees as well as international mobility and smart working issues. Her practice area also includes a spectrum of problems concerning discrimination, workplace bullying and codes of ethics for employers and employees. Magdalena advises clients on matters relating to trade unions and other employees’ representatives. She represents employers in workplace disputes and in proceedings before the State Labour Inspectorate. In addition, she has many years of experience as a trainer delivering training courses in employment law.

Since March 2005, she has been working with Wiewiórski Legal, at first as a trainee attorney at law and now as partner and head of employment law. She advises clients in a range of sectors, including the SSC/BPO, IT, automotive, aviation, HVAC, industrial machinery manufacturing, banking and financial services, retail chains, modern legal services, and hazardous materials transport sector. She also provides legal assistance in English.

Magdalena has been repeatedly recommended in the most important international legal rankings – Chambers&Partners and Legal 500.

She qualified as an attorney at law in 2007, when she passed the exam, with honours, before the Council of the Regional Chamber of Attorneys at Law in Wroclaw. Prior to that, she graduated from the Faculty of Law at the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan. She also completed a postgraduate programme in Intellectual Property Law at the Jagiellonian University in Krakow.

In her spare time, she plays sports, develops her NVC (Nonviolent Communication) competences and reads books.
