What we do
We provide comprehensive advice to businesses in the process of preparing, carrying out and closing real estate transactions in various formats, with respect to both developed and undeveloped land. We can act for the buyer as well as for the seller. In both cases, we help clients design and work on the structure of the transaction, especially where the sale or purchase of a property is part of a larger project.
We participate in negotiations at every stage, from making an offer to closing the sale.
When acting on behalf of the buyer, we conduct a comprehensive investigation of the property (legal due diligence), where we analyse the available materials and obtain documents from courts and relevant authorities. We advise on the method of settlement and proper security for payment. We also assist in determining the extent of the seller’s liability for statements made with regard to the physical condition and legal status of the property.
When representing the seller, we help put the legal status of the subject of the transaction in order, e.g. by compiling a full set of documents or sorting out entries in land and mortgage registers and other records.
