Our services are primarily designed for businesses seeking financing. We offer assistance in the preparation and verification of loan documentation. Owing to our knowledge of the regulations and practices of financing institutions, we are able to adjust the extent of interference in the legal documents prepared by the banks according to the client’s needs and market realities. 

We help clients develop the best strategy for negotiations with banks. We advise on which aspects of the transaction may be subject to change and which are absolutely non-negotiable. Together with the client’s finance department, we analyse the documentation and recommend necessary changes to ensure, on the one hand, that the documentation is in line with market standards and is suited to the type, amount and security structure of the financing in question and, on the other hand, that it does not put a strain on the client’s operations in the future. We make clients aware of the risks associated with various types of security and how those risks can be minimised.

We assist clients with bilateral financing as well as financing involving multiple lenders (syndicated financing). We work both on individual banks’ templates and on international Loan Market Association (LMA) standard documents. Also, we provide comprehensive advice on project finance.

As regards more complex structures, especially the financing of groups of companies, we assist in the process of managing the financial documents. 

In the case of international financing obtained by groups of companies, we act as a local counsel.
